Patrick Heath

Patrick graduated from University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Laws in 1984 and was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 1985. Shortly thereafter he joined a North Sydney Legal Practice where he gained a solid grounding in general practice and insurance law. In 1989 he was appointed a partner.

In 1994, after specialising for a number of years, he became a Law Society Accredited Specialist in Personal Injury Law, an accreditation which he has maintained to this day.

Patrick has represented many clients in all jurisdictions in particular District and Supreme Courts, the Compensation Court and the Workers Compensation Commission. He has also represented families at Coronial Inquests.

He adopts an open and inclusive approach with his clients. He takes time to explain how the law operates and how it will affect their claim. He is dedicated to obtaining the best possible result for his clients and does not shy away from complex negligence claims.

Patrick is a member of the Australian Lawyers Alliance and North Metropolitan Law Society. He is also an Honorary Fellow of the Australasian College of Legal Medicine. He has regularly presented to Health Professionals at the College on their role in litigation.

Patrick joined Boyd House & Partners in early 2011. He has three children and enjoys trying to lower his golf handicap.
